"We continuously need digital cameras, laptop computers and digital recording devices for our electronic overseas aid network. With these devices a doctor in a poor country can send us an image of a sick child with a complicated problem within minutes, even x-rays and lab reports, over the Internet. We can then find one of our highly trained specialists to give the proper treatment advice. Next time you upgrade your equipment, remember, that your old one can save a person's life in a less fortunate country, and give you some tax deduction as well.”
